IPU-radiative Monitors 01 "Cordon-MH" (hereinafter the monitor) is designed for continuous measurement of the radiation level of the monitored object, comparing the measured values with the background radiation level, signaling the exceeding of the measured values over a background. Registration and analysis of ionizing radiation in the monitor is carried out by comparing the emission from the controlled object from the background radiation levels at the site of the monitor locations without direct measurement of the numerical values which either normalized emission characteristics. P>
The monitor is used at security checkpoints for various purposes : road, rail and pedestrian border control, PPC nuclear power plants, enterprises of atomic-industrial complex, the metallurgical enterprises, the enterprises for extraction, processing and storage of radioactive and nuclear materials processing facilities and storage of radioactive waste, PPC government agencies, banks, offices etc. p>
