The dosimeter-radiometer ISS-2001 is a multifunctional stationary device with digital display readings, microprocessor control, and the presence of plug-in units (devices) BDMG-04 detection UDZHG-01 UDGB-01 BDMG-101, BDMN 100 connected a shielded cable to the measuring unit 12 or BOI-BOI-12-01.Blok signaling BIC-17 (optional user) for duplication of light and sound signals of the measured value exceeds the preset thresholds. It is used for radiation monitoring in the institutions where the works with the use of radioactive materials and other radiation hazardous sources of ionizing radiation.

unit (device) converts the detection value of the measured physical quantity in a sequence of pulses at the output. The signals from the unit (device) detection are input to the measurement unit where they are processed.

The dosimeter-radiometer provides setting two thresholds alarm - a warning threshold and the alarm threshold. Excess alarm thresholds indicating element light and sound alarm. Light and sound alarm thresholds exceeded is formed on the display elements of green, yellow, red and buzzer installed on the BOI-12 measurement unit.
